      How do I apply for the funding?

      How do I apply for the DfE Grant?

      The DfE grant application service is now available for schools and colleges to apply for a senior mental health lead training grant.  Please apply via the DfE on this page.
      On the DfE listing, our online course is referred to as 'New to the Role of Mental Health Lead' and has a reference code of SMHL055. Our face to face course has a reference code SMHL072.
      In due course you'll be asked for proof of booking - for this you'll need to provide your invoice.
      The DfE grant is currently available for eligible settings to claim a grant for training that starts up to 31st March 2025
      Second grants will continue to be available so that schools and colleges can train a replacement if the mental health lead they trained with their first grant has left the role before embedding a WSCA.
       
      The DfE have asked that anyone who is having issues with the application process or portal contact them via the Customer Help Portal
