      How much is the DfE grant funding and how can I spend it?

      DfE Grant amount and allowances

      The DfE grant funding is £1,200 per school to train a Senior Mental Health Lead.

      Training provider costs vary but Creative Education's in-depth training programme has been approved for funding and costs £1,200 plus vat. That means if you book your place with us your school or college can reclaim every last penny of the course fee.

      There is only one point of funding per school – it’s helpful if the person needing the training books on themselves.

      IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE DFE

      • Form 1 of your application must be submitted by 31 December 2024 – grants cannot be reserved after this date
      • Form 2 of your application must be submitted by 31 January 2025 – schools and colleges need to upload evidence of their booking and complete their grant claim by this date so that the DfE can pay you
