Why can't I move on to the next module or finish the course?

Most often the video hasn't been watched to the end. You need to watch it through before you can continue, and the button says "Watch to the end to continue" until you have.

If you skip ahead in the video, the button stays locked. Play it through to the end and it unlocks.

If you can't watch the video (you can't use sound where you are, say, or you'd rather read), press "Read the transcript" under the video. Once you've read it, press "Mark as read" and you can move on.

Some modules end with a short question. Choose an answer and press "Check answer" to go on. If you get it wrong, you can try again as many times as you like.

At the end of the course, the finish page asks what you'll do differently. You have to answer that before you can press "Finish and get certificate". The other questions are optional.

If the video has played to the end and the button still won't unlock, refresh the page. If that doesn't work, email happytohelp@creativeeducation.co.uk and tell us which course and module.

On our old website, courses ended with a survey, and every page had a Mark Complete button. Neither exists any more, so if you're looking for them, you don't need to. Messages like "Survey complete, results are being recorded" or a progress bar stuck at 95% came from the old site. Open the course on learn.creativeeducation.co.uk and it shows exactly which modules you've finished.

If you've finished every module and still can't get your certificate, email happytohelp@creativeeducation.co.uk with the name of the course. We'll check it and send the certificate.
